Effective Date: 1 July 2026
Last Updated: 1 July 2026
1. Introduction
This Refund Policy explains when refunds, cancellations, course exchanges, and access removals may apply to purchases made through Cloud Security CPD.
Cloud Security CPD provides online training and professional development courses in cloud security, cybersecurity, cloud governance, risk and compliance, identity and access management, Zero Trust, cloud monitoring, incident response, DevSecOps, data protection, SaaS security, and related cloud security topics.
For the purposes of this Refund Policy, “Cloud Security CPD," "we," "us," and “our” refer to:
Business Name: Cloud Security CPD
Legal Entity: EDUKITE LTD
Company Number: 11378092
Registered Office: Flat 202, Pavilion House 10 Hemming Street, London, England, E1 5BL
Email: [email protected]
Website: https://cloudsecuritycpd.com/
By purchasing a course, certificate, digital learning product, team training package, subscription, membership, or related service from Cloud Security CPD, you agree to this Refund Policy, our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any course-specific or checkout-specific terms shown at the time of purchase.
2. Digital Courses and Online Learning Access
Cloud Security CPD mainly provides digital learning products and online training services. These may include:
-
Online course access
-
Video lessons
-
Text-based learning materials
-
Quizzes, assessments, or course activities
-
Downloadable resources
-
Templates, guides, notes, checklists, or worksheets
-
Learner dashboard access
-
Certificates of Completion
-
CPD certificates, where applicable
-
Subscriptions, memberships, or learning plans, where offered
-
Corporate, employer, or team training access
Because our products are digital, there are usually no physical goods to return. Refund rights may be affected once access to course content, downloadable resources, assessments, or certificate features has started.
3. Our 14-Day Refund Request Period
We offer a 14-day refund request period for eligible purchases.
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, unless a different refund period is clearly stated at checkout or required by applicable law.
A refund may be considered where all of the following conditions are met:
-
The refund request is submitted within 14 calendar days of purchase.
-
The course has not been completed.
-
The course has not been substantially accessed, used, downloaded, copied, or consumed.
-
You have not attempted or completed a quiz, assessment, final test, or certificate-related activity.
-
A certificate of completion, CPD certificate, transcript, or completion record has not been issued, requested, or downloaded.
-
There is no evidence of account sharing, misuse, fraud, unauthorized copying, content redistribution, or breach of our Terms of Service.
-
The request complies with this Refund Policy and any mandatory consumer rights that apply in your country or region.
Submitting a refund request does not automatically guarantee approval. We review each request fairly and reasonably based on the purchase details, course access records, learner activity, and the reason for the request.
4. Refunds Before Course Access Has Started
You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of purchase if:
-
You have not accessed the course in your learner account.
-
You have not started any lesson or module.
-
You have not watched, read, or used course content.
-
You have not downloaded any course materials or resources.
-
You have not attempted any quiz, assessment, activity, or final test.
-
You have not received, requested, or downloaded a certificate.
-
The purchase was not made as part of a non-refundable offer, business package, customised training arrangement, or third-party marketplace deal.
Where these conditions are met, we may approve a refund and process it using the original payment method where possible.
5. Refunds After Course Access Has Started
Refunds will not normally be available once you have accessed or used the digital course content.
This includes where you have:
-
Opened the course in your learner account
-
Started one or more lessons or modules
-
Watched course videos
-
Read or used course materials
-
Downloaded guides, templates, notes, checklists, worksheets, or other resources
-
Accessed learning activities
-
Attempted a quiz, assessment, or final test
-
Completed part of the course
-
Completed the full course
-
Requested, received, or downloaded a certificate
This is because digital course content is supplied electronically and cannot be returned in the same way as physical goods.
6. When Refunds May Be Available
Refunds may be considered in the following situations.
6.1 Purchase Made by Mistake
If you purchased the wrong course by mistake, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days of purchase, provided the course has not been substantially accessed, used, downloaded, completed, or certified.
In some cases, we may offer a course exchange instead of a refund.
6.2 Duplicate Payment
If you were charged more than once for the same course or service due to a technical or payment error, please contact us as soon as possible.
Where we can verify a genuine duplicate payment, we will refund the duplicate transaction using the original payment method where possible.
6.3 Technical Access Issues Caused by Our Platform
If you are unable to access your purchased course because of a technical issue caused by our platform, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
Depending on the situation, we may offer the following:
-
Technical support
-
Correction of the issue
-
Alternative access
-
Course access extension
-
Course transfer
-
Replacement course access
-
Partial refund
-
Full refund
A refund may be considered where the issue is caused by our platform, we cannot resolve it within a reasonable time, and you have not otherwise accessed or completed the course.
6.4 Course Not as Described
If the course you purchased is materially different from the course description shown at the time of purchase, you may request a refund within 14 calendar days.
We may review the course page, checkout information, learner activity, access records, and your support request before making a decision.
7. When Refunds May Not Be Available
Refunds may be refused in the following cases, unless required by applicable law:
-
The refund request is made more than 14 calendar days after purchase.
-
You have accessed, started, substantially used, downloaded, copied, or completed the course.
-
You have attempted or completed a quiz, assessment, final test, or course activity.
-
A certificate of completion, CPD certificate, transcript, or completion record has been issued, requested, or downloaded.
-
You purchased a digital certificate, transcript, administrative service, or downloadable resource that has already been accessed or issued.
-
You purchased through a discount, voucher, promotional campaign, bundle, limited-time offer, or third-party marketplace where separate refund terms were stated.
-
You purchased a subscription or membership and are requesting a refund for a partial billing period after using the service.
-
You failed to cancel a subscription or membership before the renewal date.
-
You changed your mind after accessing or using the course.
-
You no longer need the course after purchase.
-
You do not have enough time to complete the course.
-
You expected the course to guarantee employment, promotion, salary increase, professional recognition, regulatory approval, accreditation acceptance, or a specific career outcome.
-
Your employer, regulator, professional body, training provider, or organisation does not accept the course or certificate.
-
Your access issue is caused by your device, browser, internet connection, firewall, workplace restrictions, unsupported software, incorrect login details, email settings, or failure to follow reasonable support instructions.
-
You breached our Terms of Service.
-
There is evidence of account sharing, unauthorised access, fraud, chargeback misuse, plagiarism, scraping, downloading, copying, reselling, redistribution, or other misuse of our content.
8. Digital Course Access and Cancellation Rights
Some countries and regions provide consumers with cancellation rights for online purchases. However, rules for digital content may differ depending on where you live.
Where permitted by applicable law, if you request or receive immediate access to digital content, you may lose the right to cancel once access begins. This may apply where course content, learning materials, downloads, assessments, learner dashboard features, or certificate services have been accessed or used.
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any mandatory consumer protection rights that cannot legally be excluded in your country or region.
If local law gives you stronger refund or cancellation rights, we will comply with those rights.
9. Course Suitability
Before purchasing, you are responsible for checking that the course is suitable for your needs.
This includes reviewing:
-
Course title
-
Course description
-
Learning outcomes
-
Course level
-
Intended audience
-
Course duration
-
Modules and curriculum
-
Access period
-
Certificate information
-
CPD information, where applicable
-
Price
-
Any course-specific requirements or limitations
Refunds will not normally be provided because the course was not what you personally expected after access, your learning goals changed, you purchased the wrong course and used it before contacting us, or you expected an external certification, job outcome, promotion, or third-party recognition.
10. Certificates and Completion Records
Where a course includes a Certificate of Completion or CPD certificate, the certificate may be issued after the stated completion requirements are met.
Refunds will not normally be available once a certificate, transcript, CPD record, or completion record has been issued, requested, or downloaded.
Certificates issued by Cloud Security CPD confirm course completion only unless clearly stated otherwise. They do not guarantee employment, promotion, professional accreditation, regulatory approval, or recognition by any employer, regulator, academic institution, professional body, or third-party organisation.
If a certificate contains an error caused by us, we will correct and reissue it where appropriate.
If a certificate contains an error because you entered incorrect details, we may correct it at our discretion.
11. Downloadable Materials
Some courses may include downloadable materials such as guides, templates, checklists, worksheets, notes, sample documents, exercises, or supporting resources.
Refunds will not normally be available once downloadable materials have been accessed or downloaded.
You must not copy, share, distribute, publish, resell, upload, or reuse downloadable materials outside the permitted personal or organizational learning use stated in our Terms of Service.
12. Discounted Courses, Promotions, Vouchers, and Offers
Courses purchased using a discount, promotional offer, voucher, coupon, bundle deal, limited-time campaign, affiliate deal, or third-party marketplace offer may be subject to this Refund Policy and any additional terms shown at checkout.
Refunds may be limited or unavailable where:
-
The offer stated that the purchase was non-refundable.
-
The promotional period has ended.
-
The voucher, coupon, or access code has been redeemed.
-
The course has been accessed or used.
-
Digital materials have been downloaded.
-
A certificate has been issued, requested, or downloaded.
-
The purchase was made through a third-party platform with its own refund policy.
Promotional codes, vouchers, and discounts have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
13. Bundles and Course Packages
If you purchase a bundle or package of courses, refund eligibility will depend on whether any part of the bundle has been accessed or used.
Refunds will not normally be available once you have:
-
Accessed one or more courses in the bundle
-
Downloaded materials from any course in the bundle
-
Attempted assessments or quizzes
-
Received, requested, or downloaded a certificate for any course in the bundle
If we approve a partial refund for a bundle, we may deduct the value of any course, material, certificate, discount, or service already accessed or used.
14. Subscriptions, Memberships, and Renewals
If Cloud Security CPD offers subscriptions, memberships, learning plans, recurring access, or renewal-based services, the relevant billing terms will be shown before or during purchase.
You are responsible for cancelling a subscription or membership before the next billing date if you do not wish to renew.
Unless required by law or clearly stated at checkout:
-
Refunds are not normally given for partial subscription or membership periods.
-
Renewal payments are not normally refundable after the renewal date if access has continued or been used.
-
Cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does not automatically refund past payments.
If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us as soon as possible.
15. Corporate, Employer, and Team Training
Corporate, employer, team, bulk, or organization-funded training may be subject to separate written terms agreed upon between Cloud Security CPD and the purchasing organization.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, refunds may not be available once the following occurs:
-
Learner accounts have been created
-
Course access has been issued
-
Learner places have been reserved
-
Training has started
-
Learners have accessed course materials
-
Downloadable resources have been provided
-
Certificates or completion records have been issued
-
Custom reporting, onboarding, administration, or setup work has begun
-
Bespoke or organisation-specific learning support has started
If you are a learner enrolled by your employer or organization, refund requests should usually be raised by the organization that made the purchase.
Consumer cancellation rights may not apply to business, corporate, or employer-funded purchases.
16. Customised or Bespoke Training Services
Refunds are not normally available for customized or bespoke services once work has started.
This may include:
-
Customised cloud security training
-
Organisation-specific learning materials
-
Private cohort setup
-
Bespoke course recommendations
-
Custom reporting
-
Learner onboarding
-
Administrative setup
-
Consultancy-style training support
-
Tailored team training packages
If a bespoke service is cancelled before work begins, we may consider a refund after deducting any reasonable costs already incurred.
17. Course Exchanges and Transfers
Instead of a refund, we may offer a course exchange or transfer where appropriate.
A course exchange may be considered if:
-
You contact us within 14 calendar days of purchase.
-
You purchased the wrong course by mistake.
-
The original course has not been substantially accessed, used, downloaded, completed, or certified.
-
The replacement course is available on our platform.
If the replacement course costs more, you may need to pay the difference. If it costs less, we may decide whether to refund the difference, issue credit, or offer another reasonable solution, depending on the circumstances and applicable law.
Course exchanges and transfers are offered at our discretion unless required by law.

Any previous refund or chargeback history
We aim to handle refund requests fairly and consistently.

20. Approved Refunds
If your refund is approved, we will usually refund the eligible amount to the original payment method used for purchase.
We aim to process approved refunds within 14 calendar days of approval, where reasonably possible.
Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank, card provider, payment processor, country, currency, or payment method.
We are not responsible for delays caused by banks, card providers, payment processors, or third-party platforms.
Where currency conversion, bank fees, card fees, foreign transaction fees, or payment processing fees apply, these are controlled by your payment provider and may not be refunded by us.
21. Access Removal After Refund
If a refund is approved, we may immediately remove, disable, or restrict access to:
-
The refunded course
-
Related course materials
-
Downloadable resources
-
Assessments or quizzes
-
Certificates or transcripts
-
Learner dashboard access connected to the refunded purchase
-
Learner records connected to the refunded purchase, where appropriate
You must stop using any refunded course materials and must not copy, share, distribute, publish, resell, upload, or reuse them.
Any certificate issued for a refunded course may be cancelled, withdrawn, or treated as invalid.
22. Failed Payments, Chargebacks, and Payment Disputes
If a payment fails, is reversed, disputed, charged back, fraudulent, or unauthorized, we may suspend or remove access to the relevant course, certificate, membership, subscription, or service.
If you have a concern about a payment, please contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute without contacting us, we may suspend access to your account while the dispute is investigated.
Chargeback misuse, false claims, or repeated payment disputes may result in account restriction, account termination, or refusal of future purchases.
23. Third-Party Purchases
If you purchased a Cloud Security CPD course through a third-party website, marketplace, voucher platform, employer, affiliate partner, reseller, or corporate training provider, your refund may be governed by that third party’s refund policy.
In those cases, you may need to contact the third party directly.
We may not be able to process a refund directly if we did not receive the original payment from you.
24. Changes to Courses or Services
We may update, improve, replace, suspend, or remove course content from time to time.
A refund will not automatically be provided because:
-
Course content has been updated.
-
Module order has changed.
-
The platform design has changed.
-
Course materials have been improved or replaced.
-
Course titles, descriptions, or learning paths have been refined.
-
Cloud security practices, cybersecurity standards, technologies, regulations, or industry guidance have changed after your purchase.
However, if we permanently remove access to a paid course during your active access period and do not provide a reasonable alternative, we may offer a refund, credit, replacement course, access extension, or other remedy where appropriate.
25. Abuse of This Refund Policy
We reserve the right to refuse refunds, suspend accounts, restrict access, or refuse future purchases where we reasonably believe there has been misuse of this Refund Policy.
Examples of misuse may include:
-
Completing a course and then requesting a refund
-
Accessing substantial course content before requesting a refund
-
Downloading or copying materials before requesting a refund
-
Requesting or downloading a certificate and then seeking a refund
-
Sharing login details with others
-
Allowing unauthorised users to access your account
-
Copying, scraping, reselling, uploading, or redistributing course content
-
Making repeated refund requests across multiple courses
-
Using chargebacks dishonestly
-
Creating multiple accounts to misuse offers, discounts, vouchers, or refunds
-
Attempting to access courses without valid payment
-
Making false claims about access, technical issues, or course content
26. Mandatory Consumer Rights
This Refund Policy applies globally. However, consumer protection laws differ by country and region.
Nothing in this Refund Policy excludes, limits, or replaces any mandatory legal rights that apply to you and cannot legally be excluded by contract.
If there is a conflict between this Refund Policy and mandatory consumer law in your country or region, the mandatory law will apply.
27. Updates to This Refund Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, payment processes, legal requirements, business operations, or customer support practices.
